Nigel Welsh, previously a director of a successful southern brewery, decided in May 2009 that there was a need for a local brewer to produce quality cask beer. "We are using locally sourced ingredients as well as the almost unique method of Double Drop brewing, one of our nation's traditional methods for producing a real ale."
Joining Nigel in his passion for quality are Terry Baker and Ann Stantiford. The three of them having a combined total of over 64 years experience in the Brewing and Cask Ale industry.
